Adelene Fletcher

Adelene spent several years at Manchester College of Art in the late 50's and went on to work in a Textile Design Studio and later as a Design Consultant.

This background accounts for her impeccable sense of composition and colour which is evident in all her work.

Since specialising in watercolours she has received much acclaim in galleries throughout the country and exhibited at the prestigious Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour. The Royal Watercolour Society and The Society of Botanical Artists where she has been appointed a member. She has been, not surprisingly, awarded many prizes over the years. Her love of art has also inspired her to teach students and she has also' written and illustrated a number of my fine books.

Currently Adelene is undertaking new challenges producing original canvases with different styles and techniques.
