Amanda McAndrews

After graduating from University with a Degree in Fine Art and Art History, Amanda studied for her MA and began teaching at a College in Wiltshire.

She has exhibited her work at many prestigious Galleries and Institutions around the country arid most recently 'at the Royal Academy show in Birmingham. Amanda who specialises in oil painting, particularly the human form, plant life and landscapes, uses her art as a form of escape, a refuge from the hectic demands of modern life.

She produces paintings that have a poignant and personal symbolism. Having recently returned to the Isle of Wight, Amanda has begun to explore the stunning landscape and coastline of the Island. She believes that the strength of her work is that each time you look at her paintings you will see something new.
