Working mainly in watercolour and acrylic, Debbie Neill creates wonderfully expressive scenes of patchwork fields, colourful cherry blossom and heather and shadowy winter scenes. Coastal House is a vivid mix of rolling countryside and the rolling waves of the North Sea as a backdrop to the wonderfully idyllic cottage with its white washed walls, bathed in the sunshine from one side, and nestling in shade on the other. These pieces often come with companion paintings, in this case Coastal Path, perfect for establish a decorative or subjective theme.

Debbie Neill’s paintings may be centred on one particularly subject, but the diversity with which she uses light, colour and varying shades to evoke the beauty of the iconic Scottish Highlands makes her work very appealing to many. With prices to suit most pockets and canvases available in various sizes, both framed and unframed, with the option of decorated mounts, Debbie Neill’s artwork would many environments. A city house bringing a touch of the wild and romantic to urban living, and also a country residence, perhaps one in the highlands itself.
